Then you've come to the right place:
Our »Embedded Audio Systems«  group develops, among other things, device-level test procedures for the MPEG-H 3D Audio Codec, which enables enveloping 3D sound and interactivity. To ensure the functional scope and interoperability in commercial devices, the MPEG-H Trademark Program was launched and extensive test suites were developed for various device classes consisting of test signals, test procedures and test devices. In particular, the interaction of the various devices via HDMI/ARC/eARC and the correct synchronization between audio and video are also tested. For this purpose, special test methods were developed to verify the HDMI ARC/eARC-based transmission between STBs, TV sets and soundbars or AVRs and to measure the timing for audio and video. To ensure functionality throughout the entire transmission chain, our group maintains a laboratory with commercial transmitters and receivers, which are also used for demonstrations and test operations.
